Machen - To Do / Make "Mach"  "en" Here, "Mach" is an stamm part (root part). For Der :  The words which ends with " er , ent , eur , ist are known as Masculine. Example : Vater , Student , Barber  For Das : The words which ends with " chen , Zeug , Um are known as Neutrum.
